Auto Exotica The Cut - heavy cutting compound

To match our spectacular coating products, we needed a polish that would make light work of swirls and scratches, whilst leaving a refined finish. Our Cut and Gem range was born.

The Cut slices away swirls, whilst offering minimal dust with a high grade finish. Its formula makes it a performer in the hands of a hobbyist and seasoned pro alike and is suitable to Dual Action and rotary polishers, and all pads.

Application Instructions

• Prime your polishing medium with a layer of Compound
• 8 pea sized dots of compound should be enough to spread across the pad
• Work in an refined area - typically we aim for around 50cm x 50cm and polish in overlapping runs (a criss-cross or S pattern)
• Remove excess polish with a microfiber cloth
• It is recommended to use an appropriate prep spray before applying further protection
  

Top Tips

• Experiment with different pads and machine speeds to find your suitable combination for the paint that you are working on - a test area is recommended, starting with the least aggressive pad and working up.
• Use a spray bottle of distilled water to reactivate the compound and prolong use - which also minimises pad clogging.
